National Sea Shore waives fee

Superintendent Jerry Eubanks announced today that Gulf Islands National Seashore will waive entrance fees to celebrate National Public Lands Day on

Saturday, September 27, 2008

and also on

Sunday, September 28, 2008

in honor of newly naturalized citizens. The normal $8 per vehicle entrance fee will be waived for all visitors entering the Perdido Key (

Johnson

Beach

) Area in the Florida District of the Seashore on these days
