Beach Volleyball Tournament
The Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 1st Annual Beach Volley Ball Tournament. The 2009 Perdido Key Open will be held on the beach, behind the world renowned Flora-Bama Lounge. What better combination could the avid or novice volleyball player ask for? The glistening white sands of Perdido Key Florida, played on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico at the world famous Flora-Bama. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to local charities in our community.
This event begins on Friday, September 11th with a player’s party. Divisional Play begins on Saturday, September 12th, with the Championship matches played on Sunday, September 13th. We expect this to be the beginning of a fantastic ongoing event for our area. We are expecting participants of all ages and skill levels to participate with a large number making a mini-vacation out of the event.
