COMMUNITY NEWS: TARAFEST 2009 My Spayce Event Center 212 E. Garden St., Pensacola July 18th - 2:00 pm - Until Tara Blackwell is a Pine Forest High School graduate and former Troy University Softball player whose life was changed on 4/9/05 when she broke her neck, becoming paralyzed from the chest down. Perdido folks may remember her from speaking at the Stars of the Future Clinic, where she spoke to kids and parents about believing in themselves. This event will help raise funds for her to be treated at the Institute of Cellular Medicine in San Jose, Costa Rica. UPS Warns of Fraudulent Email UPS has become aware that an unknown third party is sending out emails that claim to be from UPS. These emails are not from UPS. The message leads the recipient to believe that a UPS shipment could not be delivered. The recipient is then advised to open an attachment containing a waybill or invoice for the shipment to be picked up. We recommend that you do not open the email attachment as it may contain a virus. We also recommend that you delete the email immediately. |
